About:
Jenna Compono is a TV personality. About/Bio: Jenna is the girl next door type who has excelled in the reality shows that she has been part of. Most notably, ‘The Challenge’, where she really made a name for herself. Her success as a reality star is just a bonus for the blonde bombshell from New York City. Her dream was always to be a model. Jenna Compono has been a successful reality star since 2014 when she burst onto our screens on ‘MTV’s Real World’. Since then she has gone on to star in four more big reality shows including three seasons of ‘The Challenge’ which has really made her a household name. She has sometimes been seen as the ‘dumb blonde’ due to her lack of skills in puzzle challenges. Also, saying things like “I can’t spell or am smart” doesn’t really do her any favours. However, Jenna has showed that she is more than just a pretty face with her strength and agility she did extremely well on The Challenge winning five out of six tasks and making it to the finals on all three seasons that she was on. Jenna was born in Long Island, New York. She is from a large family with three brothers and two sisters. The family is super close and she even appeared with her cousin, Brianna, on the show ‘Bloodline’. It made for very entertaining viewing with Jenna eviscerating her cousin and showing us that even amongst close relatives, she is not to be messed with. Her fighting spirit may come from the fact that she has had to battle ill health from a very young age. She was born with a hole in her heart and had to have surgery when she was just two years old. This has likely given her the adult life she would never have had as she was given only ten years to live, prior to surgery. She is clearly living her life to the full now and studied Law and worked as a secretary before breaking into the world of reality TV. She won’t let anyone bring her down. When advised to have a boob job to boost her modeling potential, Jenna stated that she would not do anything to jeapordise the health of her heart. Zach was right (if a bit patronising) when he told her, “Women are strong independent creatures who can do whatever they want.” A lot of attention has been placed on Jenna’s love life and the rotters she seems to go for. Firstly, Jay who was caught on camera cheating on Jenna on the show, Real World: Explosion. He has taken a fair amount of flack from fans and media about his treatment of the popular sweetheart and the pair went on to star on Battle of the Exes II. It is safe to say that she has moved on now. The next love interest was with Zach who she starred with on Champs Vs Stars in 2017, which was a spinoff of The Challenge and gave fans plenty to talk about. Unfortunately, Zach turned out to also be a love rat leaving our girl next door heartbroken once again. Her bad luck continued in the show when she twisted her ankle in one of the games and was unable to complete the competition. This has had quite a serious impact on her health and she has said that she may never be able to compete in another challenge as the Doctor has said that she cannot run anymore. Luckily for Jenna, her real passion is modelling and if you follow her on Instagram you will see why. She is a natural in front of the camera and it helps that she is so classically beautiful. She has worked hard and developed quite a portfolio with agencies such as Manhattan Lounge Cover Art and Stars Model Agency NYC. La Pink Fashion Show, 25 Park Fashion Show and Blums Fashion Show, are just a few of the fashion shows she has appeared in. Jenna has 130k followers on Twitter who are all big fans and obsessed with her. She has a rather avid set off male fans who have nicknamed her ‘The Barbie Beast’. She certainly can have her pick of the men but it seems she has her type and that is definitely bad boys. Shows: ‘MTV’s Real World’ ‘The Challenge’, ‘Battle of Exes II’, ‘Bloodline’ and ‘Real World Ex-Plosion’.
