About:
Holland Marie Roden is an actress and a producer. Holland Marie Roden was born on October 7, 1986 in Dallas, Texas. The 31-year old American actress is known for her performances in the popular teen drama series Teen Wolf and horror anthology series Channel Zero: Butcher’s Block. She grew up in a family of doctors and has three siblings: Ryan Roden, Scott Roden, Taylor Roden. Marie studied at Hockaday School, an all-girls private school in Dallas. As a child, Roden already had the heart for acting and performing. At an early age, she entertained her family with her “Queen of England” antics: when she turned 6, she would play a one-woman show in front of her family, imitating her favorite Queen. Her parents saw the potential in their daughter, so they started enrolling her in acting and theater classes. Even though acting was her first love, she knew that education is also her priority. Marie chose molecular biology and women’s studies at UCLA. Prior to take up acting full-time, thus, she spent three and a half years in pre-medical education with a track to becoming a cardiothoracic surgeon. When Holland moved to LA, she took a shot and tried a number of acting opportunities. After hiring an agent, Holland got her first break on HBO’s ’12 Miles of Bad Road’. She played the recurring character Bronwyn. Unfortunately, her high hopes were put down when her first show, ’12 Miles of Bad Road’ was cancelled before it could premiere. Despite the setback, she never gave up and continued to persist. She successfully made guest appearances on shows such as ‘The Event’, ‘Cold Case’, ‘Community’ and ‘Criminal Minds’. Following her successful guest starring appearances, she became part of the cult classic franchise ‘Bring It On: Fight to the Finish’, playing the lead role. In 2011, Holland found herself a role that defined her career and helped her gain recognition and fame. She bagged the lead role for the MTV Teen Series ‘Teen Wolf’. In the show, she played the popular and intelligent Lydia Martin, a student at Beacon Hills High School who discovers that she has the supernatural abilities of a banshee. Teen Wolf became MTV’s most successful and popular narrative series. The show contributed to Holland’s rise to fame. While taking the lead role in the series, she also starred in a lead role of an independent horror flick, ‘House of Dust’. She also starred in guest roles for popular television series such as ABC’s ‘Grey’s Anatomy’, and Fashion Police’. Aside from acting gigs, Holland also appeared in a number of photoshoots and fashion shows. She recently attended the ‘Rachel Zoe Fall 2018 Showcase’ at Jeremy Hotel in LA last February 5. She looks hot and stunning while wearing an all-white look in celebration of strong and powerful women. With her successful career, Holland has also been followed by all kinds of dating rumors. The Teen Wolf actress has been linked to a number of co-stars such as Colton Haynes, Topher Grace, Ian Bohen, Tyler Posey and her recent ex-boyfriend Max Carver. Holland and Max Carver started dating way back 2014. Their romance started to flourish when they co-starred in ‘Teen Wolf’. The fans started speculating when the former couple began posting pictures of them together via Instagram. Fans felt that they were too comfortable with each other. They kept their relationship low-key until the news of their break-up came out in 2016. Right now, Holland is happily single, focusing on her career and spending time with her family. When the series ‘Teen Wolf’ finally ended, she took the opportunity to bond with her family especially her siblings Taylor Roden, Ryan Roden and Scott Roden.
